Wheatstone Academy Housing
In order to give students a real-life experience of college life, we hold the Wheatstone Academy conferences on
some of the finest university campuses, where students settle into the dorms with the Wheatstone staff for the
duration of the conference week. These rooms are furnished with chairs, desks and comfortable beds.
Q: Can I pick my roommate?
A: If you know that a friend will also be attending the conference,
you may request to share a room by contacting
Judy Hedgren.
Q: What if I’m coming from out-of-state?
A: No problem. As long as you can fly to the conference, a Wheatstone
Academy Staff Member will be at the airport ready and waiting for you. They will drive you to the conference and drive
you back to the airport at the end of the conference. For specific questions, please
contact Judy Hedgren
Q: Will Wheatstone Academy Staff be staying with us?
A: Yes, Wheatstone Academy Mentor Staff will be in the dorm hall with you
(female mentors with girls, male mentors with guys). They are available to you at all times during the conference and are
happy to assist with any needs you have during your stay.
Q: Is there a curfew?
A: We do not have a mandatory “lights out” time, but we do require
you to stay in the dorm building during the evening and throughout the night. We find that students are more than ready
to get to sleep at the end of a full day at Wheatstone Academy.
